This means the pair will move on to the Section's Masters championship Nov. 3 at the Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton.
Fong took medalist honors on the strength of a two-over-par 74. She was two strokes better than Emily Masiel of Davis, three strokes better than Kaur's 77.

Because Masiel's team finished second she will advance to the Masters as a part of the Davis squad. The team championship was won by Oak Ridge, which totaled a 421. Davis was five strokes behind. Third place in the team results was Granite Bay (446) and fourth was St. Francis (455). Those four schools will play for the Masters' team championship next Monday in Stockton.
Pleasant Grove golfer Brittany O'Bryant fired an 81, which was good for fourth amongst the individual scores and she'll also compete at the Reserve.
The Section will send three teams and four individuals to the NorCal Tournament, Monday, Nov. 10, at the Club at Crazy Horse Ranch in Salinas.
