Levin Opens 2012 At Sony Open

Elk Grove's Spencer Levin opened the 2012 PGA Tour season last weekend with a 23rd place finish at the Sony Open in Honolulu. He fired a six-under-par 274, seven strokes behind the winner Johnson Wagner.
Levin picked up a paycheck for $47,575. He shot a two-over-par 72 in Sunday's final round.

Last season, Levin's third on the tour, he ended up 31st in the money list.

The tour this week comes to California for the Humana Challenge in La Quinta. Levin will be in the field.
