Summer Basketball Challenge Begins Today

Valley High School and Cosumnes River College are hosting the 4^th annual Valley-CRC Summer Basketball Challenge at Valley High, Cosumnes River College, and Monterey Trail High.  Play begins Friday.

As in years past, this is a 32-team bracketed tournament (inspired from the NCAA’s March Madness). 

Valley basketball coach Mat Bradley says this is another solid, competitive field that includes 19 teams that were in the playoffs last season.


"We have hosted schools from many sections throughout our 4-year existence – North Coast, Central Coast, Sac-Joaquin, & Northern Sections and Nevada," he wrote in an email.
