Week 2 Football

Our local football teams have some interesting matchups tonight:

Nevada Union vs. Pleasant Grove - definitely our top game of the week. PG is coming off a last minute loss to Lincoln/Stockton a week ago and need a win. However, the Miners are really good this year. They manhandled Grant last week. Not sure the Eagles will win this.

Elk Grove vs. Del Campo - Another good game. The Herd, though, should win this. Del Campo is supposed to be good, but were blown out last week by Enterprise of Redding.

Franklin vs. Freedom - These two played last year and Freedom took the win. But, Franklin is much better this year and I think both teams will score points tonight.

Sheldon vs. Rosemont - Another "W" in the win column for the Huskies.

Laguna  Creek vs. Sierra - Will the Cardinals be 2-0 after tonight? Perhaps. 55 points last week in the opener was impressive.

Valley vs. Monterey Trail - Mustangs will get their first win of the season.

Livermore vs. Cosumnes Oaks - The Wolfpack struggled last week in its win at Sacramento. They can't afford to play last they did last week tonight.
