Delta Valley Conference - 

Elk Grove 12, Grant 1 (5 inns.) - Dylan Carlson had a three-run homer, Rowdy Tellez pounded a two-run shot to back Ty Madrigal's pitching.


Delta River League - 
Oak Ridge 7, Jesuit 2 - Logan Marston went three-for-four with a double to back Tommy Hummer's complete game performance.
Folsom 6, Ponderosa 4

One other note --

David Freitas was sent down to Double-A Midland Sunday after the A's traded for catcher Stephen Vogt. The A's, parent organization to the River Cats, had a chance at the promising Vogt, like Freitas, considered a good catching prospect.

Freitas was opening day started for Sacramento and went 2-for-8 in two games at the plate, but seemed to be the odd man out after Oakland acquired Vogt from Tampa Bay for a player to be named later. Vogt had a homer and two doubles in his first game as a River Cat Sunday.
