The Sac-Joaquin Section's football playoffs continue Friday night with four area schools all in action. In Division I Franklin will travel to Folsom to try to slow down the top-seeded Bulldogs. No one has seemed to be able to do that this season (nor last season, either). Our best to Coach Mike Johnson and the Wildcats.
Pleasant Grove will travel to No. 2 seed Stagg in Stockton. Last year the Eagles kicked a final minute field goal to win, 22-21.
In Division II Elk Grove, the No. 3 seed, takes on No. 6 Burbank. The issue is whether the Herd's offense will be able to get untracked against one of the area's toughest teams in the Titans.
In Division V, Bradshaw, which drew an opening round bye, will host Brookside Christian.
All games kick off at 7 p.m.
