Final Week - Battle In The DVC

One week from tonight basketball's regular season will be over. And in the Delta Valley Conference there are four teams fighting it out for the three playoff spots.

Franklin, who jumped out to a 4-1 start in DVC play, has lost two in a row and they sit tied for second place at 4-3 with Monterey Trail and Davis. Tonight the Wildcats and Mustangs play at M.T. in what may be the biggest game to date in the DVC.

In the Delta River League, Jesuit and Folsom as destined to battle it out for the league title. Though Pleasant Grove has pulled out a couple big wins over Ponderosa and has a win over Sheldon, the Eagles play both of the front-runners this week. It could be they may slide into the post-season as the DRL's fourth-place team.

Oak Ridge may end up being the third seed out of the DRL.
